Coach Melissa was the WA State 4A Singles Champion, and Division 1 collegiate player at CU Boulder, where she played #1 singles. Melissa grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she was a top ranked singles and doubles player over her eight years in PNW tournament tennis. She traveled regionally, and nationally, to compete.

Now a mom of three high performance athletes, Melissa pivoted her efforts to coaching: tennis, youth sports, and global problem-solving teams. In 2022, as the Head Tennis Coach at Lakeside School, she led the Lakeside Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team and the Boys Varsity Tennis Team to simultaneous 3A State Championship titles, the first in school history,

As the Racquets Program Head at Overlake Golf and Country Club, her students ranged from ages 7 to 77. However, each of these students were passionate about taking their tennis game to their personal highest level, doing this by hard work, mastering the FUNdamentals and always having fun!
